Overview

Hanover Research is a research-and-analytics firm serving corporate, higher-education, and K-12 clients. I built a Microsoft PowerPoint add-in that delivers research and analytics directly inside PowerPoint — plus the data-engineering pipeline behind it — so executives access business intelligence without leaving their presentation workflow.

The Problem

Executives switched between research tools and PowerPoint to build data-driven decks

Research and analytics lived outside the presentation workflow

Turning findings into presentation-ready slides was manual and slow

Data was scattered across multiple sources and hard to surface consistently

No tiered, monetizable access model for the delivery tool

The Solution

A PowerPoint add-in delivering research and analytics inside the native app

Automated generation of presentation-ready slides from findings via OOXML

Secure integration of multiple data sources behind the add-in

A tiered subscription model with subscription management and authentication

ETL pipelines into a data warehouse feeding Power BI dashboards
