Overview

Engaged through Crayon for end client Bahri Ship Management, I built an application that monitors and improves cargo-vessel performance using real-time telemetry. The platform ingests vessel data, surfaces performance KPIs through Power BI, and runs on AWS infrastructure provisioned with CDK.

The Problem

Cargo-vessel performance data was hard to monitor in real time

Fleet operators needed actionable KPIs, not raw telemetry

Performance issues were difficult to spot and act on quickly

Telemetry came from systems with their own API rate limits

Maritime operations demanded reliable, continuous monitoring
